This is disgusting and I love it. Even though I am not a 45 year old wife and mother I still feel oddly seen by this.

I was thinking yesterday about the phrase "lady in the streets and freak in the sheets," because the main character is a fucking freak BUT nothing she says is truly that abnormal and many seem to agree. Why does being a "lady" and a "freak" need to be mutually exclusive?

Going to bulldoze the reading for H2; this is exactly the type of book I love: middle age suburban woman going absolutely insane bc her picture perfect life is a cage.
