I'm loving this book SO so much!!

Kitty - "... I am at a loss to know how one decides on a husband. When I think of Wickham; how we were all so misled. How does one know?"
Jane - "... there has to be a little prudence mixed in the passion... Lydia let her desires override her sense... we can only hope the passion remains to keep her happy in her married state ... a sense of honour and what is right is very important as well as a caring disposition."

Not me reading the same idiom today in two books (this and Emma) - at least Mr. Knightley was “holding his spleen” … Kitty has found an “excellent way to vent her spleen” 😂 It’s ok Kitty… Knightley is much older and more level-headed than you 😉

Love the author's writing style, feels like I'm visiting old friends :)
