I really like this so far! It has this dark, gloomy atmosphere kind of like Wuthering Heights. Mary Yellan is interesting; she's a free spirit, but she makes some rather poor choices, as she lets her emotions take control of her. I don't know how I feel about Jem so far; he's kind of immature at times.
