Who Cares is a tender reflection on one woman’s care for her dying mother, and propped up by a lifetime of experience with social policy and labor rights, as well as a ton of relevant and well-interpreted research. It’s good; I can’t put my finger on why exactly, then, I am having so much trouble finishing it. The middle is a little repetitive and some of its ideas are dropped in without much explanation.
