Then Jeremy really thought of something. If his dad would've just waited for one more second at the green light, he wouldn't be dead. If the girl that hit his dad would have waited for one more second, she never would've hit him. If it wasn't raining that day, the cars tires never would've lost traction and gone off the road. If Jeremy wasn't sick that day he would be with his dad and probably would get ice cream

Jeremy and Lizzy went to Atlantic City to find a fortune teller. Once they got there, they talked to the fortune teller and she said that her grandma was a fake. That's super crazy considering that his dad lived his whole life thinking he would die when he was forty. That's not fair, people all the time think they will live forever but they don't realize they will die someday. Jeremy's dad thought that his whole life

so much. I only realize now that I'm not supposed to have a huge accomplishment. God put every single person on this earth because of one word. Love. He loves us and that's what we need to do. If we all love each other do the small acts of kindness then we are really living our lives to the fullest. Don't expect anything in return. Be yourself. Our world has many problems but we all can still love through anything.

to something great. I think that's the meaning of life for me. It's not that we all have to accomplish something great in our lives. It's not that we have to leave back this huge legacy for our kids. I feel most people misunderstand this and they don't understand until they're way older. But hey, I'm only 13 years old I have a lot of my life ahead of me. I'm glad I started reading this book because it has taught me

realize they're doing something so great when they're doing it. Like this guy named Josh Yandt. He has a really terrible pass and no teenager should've gone what he went through. Josh wasn't depressed his whole life. Every day at school, he opened the doors for everyone to come in and he greeted them with a "hello". He wasn't expecting attention from the news or anything, He was just a small act of kindness that led

I believe that God put me and everyone else on this earth to live; meaning to help others and be kind. But there's something that makes a difference from an average person and an amazing person. An amazing person doesn't expect any great award for doing kind things. They just do what they think is right and be themselves. They don't think that they're doing this for some big reward. Most of the greats don't even

A lot of things have happened; Jeremy and Lizzy met this guy named Simon Rudolph. He really put things into perspective for Jeremy. He has so many quotes that I love. One is "You can count the seeds in an apple but you can't count the apples in a seed. This honestly means so much. Like Mr.Johnson said how there's no huge accomplishment that we're suppose to have. I'm starting to realize something in my life.

Lizzy and Jeremy got in trouble, and they had to go to a small police station for breaking and entering. Now they have to work community service hours for this old guy named Mr.Oswald. He is a pawn shop owner who's moving away. Jeremy's dad and he would've gotten along very well because of their similarities. I feel like it would be really hard for Jeremy because so many things constantly remind him of his dad.

Jeremy thinking for a while and if I was in his shoes I would do the same. Especially because it was his dad that got affected in a negative way. It's one of those topics that's strange but interesting at the same time. As a person, I can't believe that such a small thing can be huge. It is simplu crazy. Especially now, every move I make and every step I take could have such a hug consequence good or bad.

and they wouldn't have gotten hit by the car. All these little tiny things that could make a huge difference in someone's life. It's crazy to think that if I decide to like to read one book instead of something else, that could affect my future job. I feel like I should be cautious now but it's still hard to be because you don't know the outcome of anything. This one topic could get you thinking forever. It got

Something super interesting and a good real thinker question popped up in my book. Jeremy and Lizzy were riding the bus to Jeremy's dad's friends work. They didn't know how to stop the bus so they missed their stop by two blocks. But at their spot two blocks away from their place, Lizzy found a card on the ground for her collection. So if they would've gotten off at their normal spot they wouldn't have found the card
