I’m almost done with this book and I feel like I have Stockholm Syndrome. Do I like how this book makes me feel? Did I ask for this? Am I turning into Vanessa Wye? This book is altering my brain chemistry and I’m afraid it’s not in a good way.

This is such a strange book because the storyline is SO good, the writing is SO good and she’s describing teenage feelings that I’ve literally felt before, so I’m connecting with the story and with Vanessa, but I CANNOT with the GROOMINGGGG. I want to gag with every passing page!
