Just cra-cra and we refuse to get so wrapped up in the excess - 3 hours/night (hopefully 1-2 hours, max) and that's it. Damn kid can get her "B" grades not getting all homework done. She knows "As" don't bring happiness or wisdom. :-) Can't believe how crazy it is for college-prep high schoolers. Alfie Kohn is a god in our time (in terms of education, child development, human potential) and he's mesmerized me with several lectures around Boston over the years.
