Listening to the audiobook, narrated by the author Will Hodgkinson. This is brilliant - absolutely hilarious (although I’m not sure it’s meant to be). Lawrence is either purposefully dry or he’s completely bonkers. Will Hodgkinson’s almost deadpan narration lends itself perfectly to Lawrence’s slightly bizarre observations. The conversations between him and his imaginary wife had me laughing out loud.
