So much build up and just not much pay off. Questions still remain. Not that thriller I was looking for to be fair. Not bad but not mind blown like some others

In just not really believing the characters as the mystery unfolds. I don’t know why. It seems like a rushed reaction. Especially as so much of the book is spent on nothing. I’m intrigued to find out some things but in general c nowhere near a 5 star for me

All of the action seems to be happening in the last 100 or so pages, I feel like this book was really slow to build and is now rushing to get to the finish line, whilst I don’t mind a slow burn, I’m not sure the pay off is what I would like. Saying this I’m very interested in the last part of this book. I wish it had a consistent pace like this throughout

Maybe a psychological thriller at the best but not that thrilling. There is some strange goings on but near the end and I honestly don’t feel like much has happened, this is more like real slog. Just okay so far

Most chapters are short which I appreciate. Some of the information and detail just feels like it doesn’t need to be in the book, it’s slow to me. I wouldn’t call this a thriller, it’s only after 150 pages of a 300 odd page book that anything that can be considered thriller is happening, got excited but now we are plodding along again

I suspect that Victoria has a crush or has been involved with her brother Hudson before. Her reaction just isn’t right to Emily. There is also something to do with this other mysterious woman. Whilst the plot twist could be that Emily really is bad news I think it’s likely to do with Hudson than her

I have a feeling that Hudson had Ulterior motives in all honesty, like it’s a set up the title is misleading. He’s got something going on with other girls too. I think he’s might be a manipulator. Him and his adoptive sister may have done stuff. It’s all abit shady. I don’t believe him

Although this book is a solid 3, I’m actually not sure what this book is. I can’t see thriller aspects yet and I’m almost if not half way in. It’s seems more like a fade to black rom com than a traditional
Mystery. Let’s see, still a good read

WA really exciting to start. A little slow at the moment

The Emily character is catching my be surprise. Hudson also seemed like a different than typical character. Not much is happening yet but I’m engaged and keen to see where the story goes.
