This has been a slog, especially the first 25%. This book serves as a very thorough historical record of every person within 15 or so miles of the mountain for 2.5 months.

Very. Thorough. There are so many names, locations, and road numbers that my head has been spinning since the second page. The prose is terse and choppy and it wasn't really massaged into much of a narrative. Great historical record though!
