So far I’m not really feeling it like Shan&Johnny’s story tbh, but it’s barely the beginning so we’ll see how it’ll turn out. I do have one thing that kind of irks me though - the way that these two talk. Like, I’m sorry but 12-14 year olds just don’t talk like they belong in a John Green novel, lol, sorry but it’s just not realistic

I’m sorry but why are literal 14 year olds having sex and everybody thinks that this is normal, this is so gross and just wrong.
Also I’m not the biggest aoife fan so far, so I’m really not that into this story considering that she’s our fmc lol

Yeah, in the last chapter 14 year old Aoife had a conversation with her grown ass mother about her father affairs and how because of that she doesn’t trust men and is unable to fall in love and I’m like “girl, you’re 14, go listen to backstreet boys or some shit”. Don’t even get me started on this weird sexual tension between these two CHILDREN. Like, I feel like a creep just reading about it
Yeah, I feel you there it had me all confused at the beginning and I had to go back and triple check but I still loved those books nonetheless redeeming 6 is wayyyy better in my opinion
