This is really nostalgic and feels like a step up from the Jacqueline Wilson books that were written for teens. I can’t tell if this is written from the perspective of young, innocent 16 year olds or if I was just wildly over exposed to things at that age? Either way, the references remind me of a much simpler time, minus the anorexia culture and the AIDS epidemic. Very glad to have a light, easy read
