DNF. For an author from California, I found it jarring that characters were using pejorative language regarding the Appalachians. I also found the portrayal of the Mexican characters to be disrespectfully uniform and overly reliant on stereotype.

However I did find the characterization of OCD to be fairly accurate. I appreciated the focus on magical thinking, the form I suffer from.
