didn't quite like the ending but this one was my second favorite story after gailey's

i think it's interesting that the author chooses to make the lover's name ulisses (the latinized name for odysseus) instead of the name of one of penelope's fervent pursuers, like antinous, leodes, etc. especially when the story about the shroud, which is incorporated into this, was meant to represent penelope's cleverness and dedication to waiting for her husband to return.

really love the incorporation of penelope's shroud into this

gailey's story is my favorite so far...ironic considering how much i disliked one of her solo novels. love this character she's made for thetis, and the whole small-southern-town setting.

this was confusing and the protagonist annoyed me i'm not gonna bother rating it

well..okay lol

nice and subtle detail that the protagonist loses his glasses on the way back to the table and becomes "blind" like the greek mythological figure the story is based on

story 2 is slightly better than the second one but twice as insufferable pls let there be a masterpiece somewhere in this book
