alguém fez mal à ela (provavelmente alguém da família), tá todo mundo tentando esconder isso dela e fazendo com que ela não se lembre das coisas, por isso a "memória seletiva" que a Cady acha que tem.

com certeza vou mudar de opinião ao longo do livro, mas tá aí

eu amei o detalhe que a escrita fica em formato de poesia em alguns momentos específicos
