“What the hell was that fighting style?”

Holy crap! Do they even realize that was a street fight with no rules or referees, not an Olympic event?!

First, I’ve never heard anyone saying that a thinner top lip was imperfect. Second, this is how most people are: a thicker bottom lip and a thinner top lip. Ugh this isn’t anything major by any measure but omg this book is exhausting and I wanted to pick on this.

“They were fairly androgynous in appearance, not really my type. I wanted to be the pretty one in the relationship, y’know? Plus, not liking my pets was a big no.”

OMG!!! Did anyone even ask?! It’s not like the nurse was coming on to him. It appears we have an MC who’s gonna be so self-absorbed.

And please don’t let this be another book where half of it is spent reliving events from the past books. Ugh!

Are we still on this? I don’t understand how JS doesn’t see this as something completely bad for a leader to do. It’s the farthest thing from proving he’s an “alpha they deserve”.

I’ll be honest I knida forgot about this series until just yesterday. It’s been 4 months since I read book 4, but I still remember pretty much everything (which isn’t that hard to do given how much of book 4 was just rehashing old events). Anyways I’m in the middle of revisiting the Executive Office series before I go on to the Executive Power series and I thought I’d better get these out of the way first.
