I LOVED her debut book in this series of interconnected standalones and was SOOO excited for book 2. Started this on 7/20 and it's definitely delivering all fun and flirty fantasy mashup of Beauty and the Beast meets Mr. Jekyll & Mr. Hyde amidts a world of mermaid fae courts! I am really enjoying it so far. Nahla's inner dialogue and sass is EPIC and I can't see what happens when the Beast just let's loose!

LOVED this one! Finished it last night, 7/27. Working on this review as we speak, but this was a great second book in this series of interconnected standalones. Aethan and Nahla have such a fiery and at times funny dynamics as they navigate the waters (pun intended) of what it means to go from enemies to something more, while struggling under the weight of secrets and past trauma.
