It took a long time to finish this cause I got out of the habit of reading but it was a great book. I love the way the magic/powers aren't just about strength but they directly affect emotions. It made the fight scenes a lot more emotionally engaging. The ending was interesting and different than I thought it'd be, but I do have quite a few questions left over....but they're not answerable in the book anyway.
