They received an elite education and became fluent in Ottoman Turkish(a skill that would later serve Vlad well during his 1462 night attack against the ottomans)

M S What’s even more fascinating is how Vlad later turned against the Ottomans, using cunning military tactics — from guerrilla warfare and night raids (like the famous Night Attack(June 1462), where he nearly assassinated the Sultan), to psychological terror like the infamous "forest of the impaled(July 1462)," which shocked even Mehmed and forced him to retreat.
Sometimes, history is far more terrifying — and brilliant — than fiction
