So this is a slow burner - real slow. But it’s finally getting enjoyable. The first few pages were really tough though- I usually am farther along in more interesting material. But the ghost has finally showed up my hard work is finally paying off. The characters re being developed though no I enjoy historical gothic horror and this is certainly that.

The book is ok - very gothic horror. But I like my ghost more in-your-face, that is, more obvious and undeniable at this point. I mean it’s 75% of the way thru and the ghost is still at the stage where everyone is debating its existence. But it’s a good read.
