See my thing is, everyone acts like just because Sonny has A bad temper he is an as gentle and kind as the don. in reality he’s pretty much the same as his dad he’s actually more like his dad than Michael. Micheal only has his dads calm temper but he doesn’t have the kindness that Sunny does Sunny was the only person willing to attack that abuser- the rest acted like he didn’t exist

differences I noticed between the book and the movie:
The book is descriptive and goes into depth of every single character and their background - Johnny Fontaine has such a deeper story than we were told in the movie also Kay seems so much more innocent and likable and also more curious in the book than in the movie. In the movie, she seemed a bit bland put in the book she’s extremely curious and interested

Would you believe me if I said I’m almost halfway through this book and I started it a few days ago? I wanted to make sure I took my time with it because of how good it is. I can confidently say the godfather is some of the greatest work to be put out out of all time. I thought the movies were amazing, but the book is a masterpiece.
