tbh it’s unrealistic that she already got her us passport as soon as she found her birth certificate or am i being too present-minded 😭 maybe it’s the pacing that’s too fast…? but this is really unrealistic lol

it’s awful that you leaving your new home, your job, your community, etc. to see your parent with dementia just gets you nowhere; they don’t even recognize you, and you feel completely lost. ugh. it’s so despairing and i am so not ready to be in that situation in any time of my life.
