okay predictions:
- the guardian is the prince? and thats why he said the vows on "the prince's behalf"
- the guardian and odessa are some sort of other race/magical being?? and thats why they both lack the starbursts in the eyes also feel like "Not all monsters are born from gods, my queen. Some of us were made." was foreshadowing for that..
idk or something tragic happened to him that made him monstrous idfk
