Just as I briefly thought the pacing was starting to slow, things ratcheted up to a full throttle. I’m convinced that was on purpose, to lull the reader into a false sense of the narrative just plodding along just to explode it all. SO GOOD.

This book is so bizarre and unsettling and I am fully obsessed.

I’m so disoriented and I’m loving every second of it. SGJ has such an incredible way of pulling the reader right into the middle of the story!

SO GOOD. I’m consistently impressed at how well Stephen Graham Jones writes the inner monologue of teenage girls.
