“Lena, the human knight,” he said loudly to them, over Eamon’s cringe, “She’s my c’vana.” Ama’s wings fluffed and Maron and Rurie’s bristled. Eyes widened and mouths fell open. “There,” said Bel to Eamon, “I’ve made my position clear.” (My mouth also fell open! Cuz he really did that)
