Restarted reading this after nearly a year.
It's not unengaging, I actually remember why I quite liked this in the beginning - the rich historical and travelling element, but it is rather unexciting.

So, I'm on the train from the Netherlands going to Belgium and reading this book. Where the heroine is also on a train from the Netherlands to Belgium. What a fun coincidence!

Very griping so far, love the traveling element.
