i had to put this down for a bit because life got busy but i’m so locked in now. there was a plot development around page 300 that was so genuinely terrifying and engrossing that it really cemented the book as an all-timer.

not even 1/5 through this and i can already tell that it’s going to change my entire perception of what literary fiction can be. i keep breaking out in goosebumps UGGGGHH
