i wanted to forget him, and yet it seemed i thought of him always. it was as if the empty nights were made for thinking of him […] in the dark nights of eastern europe, lestat was the only vampire i’d found.

1. the concept of a child vampire growing old in every aspect except physically is way more creepy when said child died when she was 5. it really makes it more tragic.

2. the way louis drags lestat at every opportunity he gets and then lestat “dies” and louis thinks about joining him in death and rejects claudia 😭

3. louis being incredibly devoted to his family almost a century after his transformation:/
