The constant pining by the FL for the ML is grating but it’s better than when he was there. I want to sharpie out half this book. So much is repetitive and should’ve been edited out

Thank god the ML is more out of the picture and I don’t have to hear any more of this corny romance drivel. I honestly wish this was a fantasy novel with just light/slow burn romance. It’s leaning too much into the fantasy to be romantasy and it’s grating on my nerves.
