It’s 1:40 AM and i hit the biggest plot twist. This book was going to be funny, about grief, and the evil men who killed his dad. This book wasn’t supposed to be a horror story where a FBI agent is killed brutally (described in detail) and where a drug dealer is actually murdering people getting to close to messing with his business… how is this real? What? I’m floored… how am I supposed to sleep hello?!?

Not to mention the best writing I have seen in so long. There are techniques that hook me so incredibly well and stuff that makes the reading experience like no other. It’s actually insane that this book isn’t his most popular. He uses you in the first chapter, he uses many italic quotes from the characters dad to provide a gut punch of grief, he has the best one off quotes, and the best plot know to man… omg
