Never been so invested in two people standing still and thinking at each other

I started playing the audio book mid chapter in front of my boyfriend and the first thing he heard was “KILLING PEOPLE.” We laughed a lot.

My mom loves Robin Hobb, and I love her, so Im gonna try this. So far, it has captured my interest well.
