3.5⭐️ could have gone without a lot of the middle pages but the last 100 pages redeemed all the work it took to get there. Props to the author for taking this reader from being “done” with the series halfway into the book to now needing to read the next one.

Struggling through this one but I’m too stubborn to abandon.
