Also what is with the fae supremacy!!! This reads like eugenics

This book has eleven reviews so im going to post all my thoughts here. 1) what is the magic system. So confused. 2) why are humans so bad? Like it's not even examined from an interesting point of view, just that we're so weak and awful and pasty. 3) what the hell did she change?? Everything goes back to the way it was except her friends she doesn't remember are there with her now? 4) this is a personal pet peeve but when there's nothing that makes faeries interesting except that they're magical and have wings. Where's the drama!! I thought the amnesia would be caused by her giving her name away bc of the beginning of the Book! That would've been so juicy and cool! Instead it's just??? 6) why is cedrci an even more rare and special and amazing faerie? Also why are there rarer types of faeries ... there's even fucking faerie eugenics and racial biology like im so confused actually

Like cedric gave me the creeps from day 1 and suddenly at the end he suddenly found his morals? Would've been more interesting with a Gale type of arc, with the propaganda machine working so hard to put thoughts in his head. Also bc I prefer literally any other male character in this book to him. He's controlling and awful and im on an Anti Cedric streak rn bc he deserves it!! Like Shaun is a more interesting character and he's been in it for like 2 seconds💀 anyway if you have a single critical thought this entire book crumbles I'll be real.
