Just an incredibly readable book!

I didn’t know the Australians had such an impact on Adventist church organisation!

A tremendous section on the growth of Seventh-Day Adventist institutions relative to health and education. There was also a section that dealt with non-combatantancy within the early stages of the Adventist Church and the various challenges that came in discussion of this topic.

George Knight provides an insightful presentation on the growing understanding of the Sabbatarian Adventists toward mission. He describes how they initially struggled with this concept, but gradually developed an understanding of worldwide mission.

George Knight has demonstrated how the early Adventists which equals Sabbatarian Adventists came to understand their core distinctive doctrines. Furthermore, he discusses in chapter 3 how the church became organised: one of the major steps was conferences and the other publishing.
