Because it’s a random book from a charity shop I wasn’t expecting anything amazing but Im actually really enjoying this so far. It’s so interesting and I like reading about WW2 its actually teaching me a lot. Im excited by the fact she’s an undercover singer on the radio and it feels so easy to read. I think I might fly through it. It’s different to my usual books but it’s nice to have a bit of a change

Finished. I LOVED that book!!!! I can’t believe such a random buy from a charity shop got me so invested and literally the most tense I’ve ever been while reading. I really liked it and loved lilli the small subplot of her romance with Neil was so sweet. I actually learned a lot about WW2 and it was quite depressing. But so interesting. And I was not bored one bit. It felt like I couldn’t put it down 🫶

Bren just proposed and lilli actually said yes because she was too scared. I don’t blame her but I’m still so tense. This is awful this is awful this is awful. I can tell everything’s just going to blow up soon and I’m so scared. I’m so tense this is so bad. I hate this all I need her to reveal his real name like NOW. I’m praying for her

I’m so surprised because I’m actually ridiculously invested in this book. It is so so tense I’m scared to read it at the moment. I’m really enjoying it I love the main girlie and the real sense of found family in the little radio broadcast crew. It’s also very depressing and all the war stuff is a bit hard hitting so it feels like a history lesson but like actually fun and exciting
