This is one of my favorite Heyer mysteries. Always makes me smile.

Terrible Timothy's father is a fun as TT is. And I can't help salute TT's mother, who spends the book travelling the Nile or something and has her sights set on China next.

I love Miss Allison's interactions with Rosemary - the way she replies to R's histrionics makes me giggle.

Usually in these books the victim is a nasty person, but Silas was a nice man. I like that little change, and the fact that several of the others are likable, too
