Never heard of this but I love historical fiction and this sounds right up my alley. I've read ADF before but didn't know he wrote anything other than sci-fi. I'm grabbing this one but don't know when I'll get to it. 😅

It's really good, and isn't boring at all, to me anyway.

All I know about NZ is that the Hobbit/Lord of the Rings movies were filmed there and the awesome TV show, '100 Words' is set there. 😂 It's on my bucket list to visit and I'll enjoy reading an epic set there even though it's not modern.
