Fucking on the beach fully naked is one of the least sanitary things I have ever read

If I get a description of Aelin’s Wyrdkey flying out from in between her breasts ONE MORE TIME.

Rolfe is cool. I actually like his character. But if he gets on the Aelin train (I don’t know if he will), then he also goes to the garbage bin like most of these characters.

People can only call each other “a bitch” in this book. I never want to see the words “fire-breathing bitch” again, even if it was an insult.

The plot is getting even more convoluted, though half of it could be solved if people just answered questions instead of leaving the characters to figure it out.
Also, the political plot and fantastical ones are just not lining up at all. Aelin and her passé two goals conflict with each other horribly. As a political fantasy person, this is actually painful to read.

The best way to describe quite a bit of this book is: Ugghhhh, Gen-Z and their trauma bragging! Can’t you just stuff it down and turn it into accomplishment or cancer like the rest of us. - Deadpool & Wolverine
