Really enjoying the expansion on the worlds lore, the different creatures and their position in it, the vast changes that comes when a millennia long empire collapses and the ways each of the characters have changed from the first book.

Just finished part 4 of the book, and wow. I think one thing I’m finding most enjoyable about the book so far is how different it is, but how logical its shift has been. The world isn’t stagnant, not are the characters or their decisions. The story itself has been amazing so far with just as many emotional beats as the first.
