i don’t have words? i’ve never really studied what i’m reading when ive read ww2 books, but besides that just the way it’s written is like really putting into perspective how bleak and hopeless it all seemed. like hearing about how she learned how far bombs we’re by listening to them exploding around her for months? heartbreaking. what i’ve read so far is literally heartbreaking
