Fantastic read. I saw the film when I was in tech school in the USAF. It was showing at the base theater on Sheppard AFB in Wichita Falls, Texas. We had a huge theater and nobody was booing. Everyone sitting prim and proper in their fatigues, then huge applause.
This story is well-written and hard to put down. The patience that Michael had is almost saintly. This is really a great history of the times.
