Farthing meets Mal and eventually he is satisfied by her answers to his burning questions, or at least he is truly satisfied that she dropped by to see him and make himfeel much better. It is obvious this is an occult novel and I can think of no one I would rather have driving me through the evil men do on Earth with a willing hand from Satan.

I started "The Television" tonight and never a dull moment. There is the straightforward inheritance that Farling received from his uncle in England. But there is a lot to unpack with this main storyline. I am initially puzzled by some sideroads the author is taking such as the house of prostitution. The Television (for which the title is derived) is chilling and fascinating.
