From a long-time adult leader and Eagle Scout, who never had or heard any complaints as a Scout or Scouter or was simply oblivious, I encourage all Scouts and former Scouts to read this book. As is the case with many things, I agree that Scouting was good for me and shaped my life in many positive ways. Yet, the BSA leaders who ran it, ruined the lives of too many by dooing nothing or turning a blind eye.
