very misogynistic but my soul yearns for poetry and this is the only poetry book i have rn. there is nothing unique or excusable about his relationship to women, despite what r/books’s frequenters would argue (my fault for opening reddit). there is smth interesting about his inclination to destruction—he speaks with complete candor and ignorance—but that doesn’t make it unique. he hates women, what’s new
