Oh lord, the apartment has a balcony too! I just checked and an apartment like that would rent for $35k-$60k a month. A tattoo artist could never afford it, even subsidized.

She’s a tattoo artist who lives in a subsidized 3 bedroom apartment with views of Central Park? 😂😂😂 That could only be possible if she inherited a rent controlled apartment (but she’s a foster kid all..) This is how you tell that an author knows nothing of NYC.
