i read 28 books in july.
this came at a cost (i didn't like many of them, for one thing, and also now i'm in a reading slump) but i'll take it. tbd on if my feelings remain that way.

I have never read 28 books in a month, unless they are picture books to my daughter when she was little! Ha, I know that doesn’t count. 28 is impressive even if the books suck. What was your favorite?

That is an impressive number of books! I complete empathize with the slump. I often get to the slump and then start feeling guilty about the slump and then get back into it.
That's a bummer that you ended up not enjoying most of them. I have a fantastic reading month, I ended up reading 27 books and loved most of them, but I am usually easy-to-please reader lol
