In the Stolen Heir series, it mentions how Jude is in her mid-twenties i think and Cardan still looks like a teenager. I was so sad :(

ok so basically in Queen of Nothing they said in the fae world humans age differently so they take a long time to age as long as they don’t go back to the human world so yes Cardan is gonna look like a teenager while jude is still aging but like weirdly i guess 😭 this is so complicated

Humans don’t age if they stay in faerie

Cuz Val moren never aged, and he’s been in for centuries.

as exhibited by Val Moren (and confirmed by Holly herself on twitter), if a human stays in Faerieland, they will not age or die.

In essence, while Jude is mortal, her lifespan in Faerie is prolonged due to the nature of the realm itself, but this immortality is conditional upon her remaining within Elfhame.
