Started to lose me about 50% through with the side quests, flat characters & pacing. Fauna comes off as mean and a female version of Buddy the Elf, Azremis (I listened, idk spelling) felt a little douchy, Margot clearly wasn’t the scholar she thinks she is since Fauna spends the whole book correcting her and then M acts surprised by every new town, god and magic system. I’m 80% done and powering through atp.
