Having a hard time cuz Kenji is unlikeable. Landry wanted him for a long time, finally convinced Kenji to be with him even if it was just FWB 3 years ago. Landry has been faithful & begging for a relationship the whole time. Kenji has treated him like a feelingless slab of meat, using him for sex then kicking him out, tromping on his feelings, insulting L to his face. You can't undo 3 years of that. L can do better.

I'm disappointed because I've been looking forward to their story from reading some of the other books. I thought their dislike to love & secret relationship was going to be something better, but if you treat your love interest consistently for 3 years like shit, why do they love you? Do you deserve the HEA?
