We're making progress! It's still a sad book. Slow progress. It's not bad, but I'm just finishing it out of stubbornness.

If I had known how this would go in the first 3 chapters, I would have DNF. It started off so promising. Now I feel like it's dragging. I've come too far, I must finish. I admit I have lost hope in the tempo of the book picking up. I feel like it has become monotone.

So it's had it's sweet moments, but most of the story so far has been pretty sad.
